I look forward to being your coach and supporting you on your journey.
The following are some very general guidelines that reflect how I prefer to work with my clients.
Sessions are available via video conferencing (Skype or Zoom), telephone, or in-person.
We will establish a mutually agreed upon time for your session. Should you cancel or postpone without a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, you will be charged the normal fee for a session; except in the case of illness (personally or family members) in which case a session may be rescheduled at no charge.
PAYMENT IS REQUIRED BEFORE THE BEGINNING OF OUR WORK. I accept checks or Venmo.
All information discussed or provided during our sessions will be kept strictly confidential. However, for International Coaching Federation (ICF) continued accreditation purposes, I ask for your permission to disclose your name, email, and the date of our client sessions.
For my ongoing professional development, I engage monthly in a reflective practice with a coach-supervisor. I explore themes and situations that arise for me as a coach. In this context I describe my work without providing any identifying information about my clients. I may ask, on occasion, for your permission to record a session, for my own development, that may be used with my supervisor. Your identifying information will be kept confidential and I will delete the recording once my work with it has been completed. Please feel free to agree or decline as it feels appropriate to you.
I do not charge for calls between sessions; and I encourage my clients to call me and make use of our partnership in this way. Should calls become too numerous and lengthy, we will discuss additional protocols.
Please do not communicate with me through email. I see a number of clients during the week and am unable to read and respond to personal emails in a timely way. It is not acceptable to schedule, cancel, or change a session through email.
As a client, you understand and agree that you are fully responsible for your well-being during your coaching sessions, including your choices and decisions. This coaching relationship is in no way to be construed as psychological counseling or any other type of psychotherapy.
